It was misty atop the great mountain, the wind howled through the trees as the sky was lit only by the brightest of stars which lead us to this spot. Each day that passed on our winding journey we encountered many new and exciting challenges. Little did we know of the great adventures that still lay ahead for us all !
I know not how long we traveled or how many ridges we crossed. We were suddenly overcome with a wonderment of sound that seemed to fill me with renewed strength and warmth. The roaring sound created a path for us to follow. It's echo atop the mountain was enchanting.
As we continued on our way through the shadows of tall trees and the silhouettes of massive boulders, I recalled a story from my youth. It was an exciting tale of great adventure and of one known as the Karate Master. I had never forgotten the power of this tale, and now as I was drawn to the roaring sound before us, these feelings once again stirred inside me.
We came upon a parting in the boulders where through the mist I saw a clearing, and the air held a fresh sharpness. A man of humble but great presence appeared before us, moving in patterns that I had learned but flowing in a way I had only dreamed of The roaring sound no longer seemed overwhelming, but calm and warm, as it covered me with bumps of excitement.
The man stopped and turned as he spoke, " Let me teach you the way, the way of the "AHZAH", if you are willing. This journey will require you to learn many things. It shall require the building of your physical strength, mental swiftness, and the searching of your spiritual values. lf you can gain these skills, you may find your great reward. We set off on our journey of great adventure and through perseverance, I was able to find the way of the "AHZAH", the Internal Power. Today I once again hear his words, as I pass this tale unto you. Go now and begin your quest, if you are willing, and remember to remain humble and open to new knowledge and experiences. If you too move wisely, one of you may become the next Karate Master
